Figure 2: Electrocardiogram shows a rate of 100/min, regular, with a normal axis, a deep S in V1 and tall R in V6 suggestive of left ventricular volume overload (also in left ventricular hypertrophy). Q wave in inferior-lateral lead is more specific of left ventricular volume overload that is absent, no sign of left atrial enlargement.
